Our Rooms

To provide for your total comfort, each of our 26 rooms and two suites have been designed and decorated to reflect a wonderful, old-world atmosphere enhanced by modern amenities. Rich, bold colours and textures complement antique accents while furnishings provided by the local, award-winning Lockside Trading Company establish a casual country ambience. Have a perfect night's sleep on a queen-size pillow top bed fitted with luxurious linens. Curl up in an armchair or stretch out on a comfortable sofa. Total relaxation is ensured.

For your convenience, each of our rooms and suites is equipped with an armoire, writing desk and chair and a data port lamp. You will also find a bar fridge, sink, coffee maker, hair dryer and telephone. Each room features a high-speed Internet connection and large-screen TV with cable. Our Reception Desk with friendly and knowledgeable staff are available to assist you. Several of our main floor rooms are fully wheelchair accessible and an elevator allows easy access to all rooms, suites and meeting/social rooms.

Our Suites

In addition to the comfort and convenience provided by all the amenities found in our rooms, each of our suites boasts additional elements of luxury and comfort for your enjoyment. Total relaxation awaits you in the master bedroom where you can soothe your cares away in your two-person whirlpool bath.

Minimum two night bookings on holiday weekends.

No charge bicycle storage on site.

10% discount for the following, local community referrals, Lakefield College School, Trent University, Seniors (65 and over), CAA members.

Inn Policies

Occupancy: All rates based on double occupancy. Up to two children under 18 are allowed at no charge. There is a charge of $20.00 per person per night for each additional person over 18 (maximum four persons per room).

Check-In/Out Time: Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.

Special Packages: Special packages for weddings, corporate retreats and sports groups available upon request. Call 1-800-827-5678 for more information.

Conference/Banquet: Room rates call Sherry in person at 1-800-827-5678 for pricing and assistance in co-ordinating your event.

Smoking: All accommodation and common areas at The Village Inn are non-smoking.

Baby Equipment: Travel cribs are available at a charge of $10/day

Pets: We do not allow pets. However, we would be happy to recommend a local kennel.

Deposits: Individual Room bookings will be held with a major credit card. Group bookings require a processed deposit..

Cancellations: Rooms cancelled within 48 hours are subject to a $ 30.00 administration fee. If a guest does not show up for their room the full amount of the first night will be charged to the credit card it is being held on.
